FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

What makes Armokitchen outdoor kitchens unique?

Armokitchen specialises in outdoor kitchens designed around wood and charcoal cooking, allowing you to prepare food without relying on gas or electricity. This energy-independent approach means you can continue cooking in almost any situation, including power outages or disruptions to utility supplies.

We use heavy-duty structural steel (S235JR) with a thickness of 3–5 mm, providing exceptional durability and long-term performance even under intensive use and outdoor conditions.

In addition, you can choose from Ready-made kitchen configurations, build your own setup using individual Modules, modify existing Ready-made designs, or order a fully bespoke kitchen tailored to your project.

What components are available for Armokitchen outdoor kitchens?

We offer a wide range of modules and components, including:

  • • wood-burning stoves,
  • • charcoal BBQs,
  • • gas BBQs,
  • • horizontal and vertical smokers,
  • • gas and induction cooktops,
  • • integrated refrigerators,
  • • integrated dishwashers,
  • • multifunctional sinks,
  • • base for ceramic egg grills,
  • • base for distillation unit modules,
  • • various cabinet and worktop configurations.

Kitchens may include backsplashes, shelves, outdoor vent hood, canopies, and wheels.
All kitchens are supplied with selected accessories.
Please refer to the description of each kitchen model in the Ready-made section for details.

Can I customise a kitchen to suit my specific requirements?

Yes. You can customise any kitchen from our Ready-made collection or create your own configuration using individual Modules. We can adapt dimensions, layout, materials, colours, appliances, and other features to suit your requirements.

Do you offer fully bespoke outdoor kitchen designs?

Yes. We can design and manufacture a fully bespoke outdoor kitchen tailored to your space, cooking preferences, and specific requirements.

However, the design will always be based on our standard material range and construction systems used in Armokitchen products.

What is the difference between Modules and Ready-Made Kitchens?

Ready-made kitchens are pre-designed configurations assembled from our modules on a single frame, so you can see exactly what you are purchasing.
Modules, on the other hand, allow you to build your own custom layout. You can start with a few modules and expand your kitchen later, as all modules are designed to be fully compatible and connectable with each other.

Where is the best place to install an outdoor kitchen?

The ideal location is a terrace, patio, or garden with easy access to open space, especially for wood- and charcoal-fired modules that require proper ventilation.
Due to the weight of the kitchens, they must be installed on a stable, load-bearing surface such as concrete or another solid foundation.

What materials are used in Armokitchen kitchens?

The main structural frame is made from heavy-duty structural steel (S235JR) with a thickness of 3–5 mm, depending on the component.
Inside the cabinets, we use plywood for internal construction.
Worktops are available in engineered stone or porcelain stoneware. On request, worktops can also be made from alternative materials, such as natural stone or natural wood with a water-resistant treatment.
All external surfaces are finished with a durable, heat- and weather-resistant coating designed for outdoor use.

Are your kitchens weather-resistant? Can they be used outdoors all year round?

Yes. Our kitchens are designed for outdoor use and can be used throughout the year.
However, stainless steel is corrosion-resistant but not corrosion-proof. Environmental factors such as coastal air and salt exposure, humidity, chlorine, industrial pollution, and standing water may affect the materials over time. Powder-coated finishes may also degrade faster in harsh environments.

What warranty do you offer on your outdoor kitchens?

We offer warranties of up to 10 years on selected components. Full warranty details, including coverage and conditions, are available in our Warranty Policy section.

How difficult is it to install an Armokitchen outdoor kitchen? Can I do it myself?

Our ready-made kitchens are delivered in pre-assembled sections (typically up to 2 metres in width). Worktops, where included, are supplied separately, and some components may require simple attachment on site.
You do not need to build the kitchen from scratch.
However, due to the weight of the modules, installation will require at least two people to position the units and place the worktop.
